the teeth and a lil smile for keeps

4 months on Friday

Afton will be four months on Friday, I can't remember what life was like without her! She's so great and such a happy baby! We are so blessed! This is mostly a post for my records so I can look back and remember how she was progressing so it probably is boring to most of you so just ignore it.

At almost 4 months Afton:

• can stand if you hold her up
• can sit in a bumbo
• loves to smile and she does it a ton
• giggles
• talks all the time
• is getting a bald spot from her head rubbing on her bed
• has lost almost all her dark hair except a tiny rat tail in the back
• gives kisses
• goes crazy when she sees her mobile
• loves to read books and is fascinated with the colors and pictures
• likes tv
• is getting used to her carseat and doesn't scream as much
• is grabbing at things
• chews on anything and everything she can get in her mouth including our hands, knuckles, clothes
• is grasping the idea of a chew toy
• hates tummy time
• can roll from her tummy to her back
• she is engaging and can focus on things/people for quite a while
• loves getting her bum changed
• and last but not least...this moring she woke up with 2 TEETH!!!

We love our sweet little Afton!!!

Utah vs. New Mexico

This is probably Afton's last game of the season, it's getting too cold to take her anymore but its sure been fun having her there with us.

Halloween

I know this post is pretty late but better now than never...so Halloween was great this year, we went to an awesome and scary party thrown by the Phelps on Friday and then showed off the kiddos in their costumes to our families and friends families.

My sister Hannah was Cindy Lou Hoo thanks to Erin who came up with this great costume. It was so cute!

this was towards the end of the night, Afton was exhausted, she'd been in and out of her lamb costume multiple times that day.

we had fun, this is Jacey (the cow) Luke (the rooster) and Afton (the lamb) the parents were all dressed up like farmers with our animals.
